Just like when Eureka’s City Manager stepped out of his job description list when he fired Eureka’s Police Chief two years ago, then ran with his tail between his legs to the Mayor and City Council, the duty of hiring and firing a City’s Police Chief unlawfully shifted to the Corporation’s un-elected City Manager. To anyone who was paying attention at that time, Oakland and L.A. pulled the same shenanigans. All orchestrated from THE State and right on cue at 3:00 a.m. November 7th, 2012, the sleeping Occupiers of Eureka, Oakland, and L.A. were violently attacked by domestic terrorists, labeled Police, SWAT Teams, FBI etc. –sending many of the Occupiers to a hospital. And of course, the District A. never filed many of the frivolous charges, that some of the Occupiers spent eight days caged for.

And the beat goes on. The Mayor of Fortuna (or any City for that matter) shirks one of his main duties – the hiring, firing and supervision of the City’s Chief of Police. “My hands are tied,” is my favorite lie that i hear from these wrongdoers. Queen calls it misappropriation of funds from the Public Treasury by paying these willingly blind fools their paychecks.

The City of Fortuna’s Fictitious ‘Notice To Appear’ form has on it . . .On or before this date_____Time 8:00 a.m., you can “Appear” at –this is a good one –the “Superior Court Operations, County of Humboldt.” Can you say fraud?

Having arranged an hour’s trip up to Eureka by 8:00 yesterday, and finding a nice Bail Bonds lady who was willing to open her office for me and Notarize my Affidavit, i went to the so-called CRIME/TRAFFIC window downstairs in the sanatorium bldg., labeled Courthouse, to get on the passenger list (Court-Ship). This is twelve days after the theft of my transportation by Fortuna’s finest. Surprise, surprise, queen’s NAME was not in the @System@ and i was directed up to the District A’s fourth floor office. The gal there told me that, “Yes, you are in the @System@, however, Gallegos has not filed charges.”   So, how exactly does the living go about getting a ‘Court’ date from the dead?

Never doubt that a small number of committed citizens can change the world – in fact it’s the only thing that ever has. Margaret Meade

You never change things by fighting the existing reality. To change something, build a new model that makes the existing model obsolete. Buckminster Fuller

33 Be ready at every moment of the day and night, because when you expect him not the Lord will come.

34 Behold, when he will come with all his messengers of light, the Book of Life, and that of Records, shall be opened up – the books in which the thoughts and words and deeds are written down.

35 And everyone can read the records he has written for himself, and he will know his doom before the judge shall speak, and this will be the sifting time.

36 According to their records, men will find their own.

37 The judge is Righteousness, the king of all the Earth, and he will separate the multitudes as shepherds separate the sheep and goats.

38 The sheep will find their places on the right, the goats upon the left, and every man will know his place.

39 And then the judge will say to those upon the right, “You blessed of the Father-God, come unto your inheritance, which was prepared for you from times of old.

40 “You have been servants of the race; I was hungry and you gave me bread; was thirsty and you gave me drink; was naked and you gave me clothes;

41 “Was sick, you ministered to me; was in prison and you came to me with words of cheer; I was a stranger and in your homes I found a home.”

42 Then will the righteous say, “When did we see you hungry, thirsty, sick, imprisoned or a stranger at our gates and ministered to you?”

43 And the judge will say, “You served the sons of men, and whatsoever you have done for these, that you have done for me.”

44 The judge will say to those upon the left, “Depart from me; you have not served the sons of men.

45 “I was hungry and you gave me naught to eat; was thirsty and you gave me naught to drink; was a stranger and you drove me from your door; I was imprisoned and was sick, you did not minister to me.”

46 Then these will say, “When did we thus neglect to care for you? When did we see you hungry, thirsty, sick, a stranger or in prison and did not minister to you?”

47 And then the judge will say, “Your life was full of self; you served the self and not your fellow man, and when you slighted one of these, you slighted and neglected me.”

48 Then will the righteous have the kingdom and the power, and they who are unrighteous shall go forth to pay their debts, to suffer all that men have suffered at their hands.

49 They who have ears to hear and hearts to understand will comprehend these parables.

pipes-First, the state experiences an historic drought, which some have charged is actually being engineered.

Then, new legislation was passed just a few months ago which aims to control and regulate the use of groundwater on a never-before-seen level on one’s privately-owned land. These laws will even create agencies that basically serve as “water police.” Private wells will have to be registered and metered, and landowners who fail to comply will have their wells forcibly shut down by the government.

It’s to the point that $500-a-day fines are being handed out for not obeying water restrictions, people are turning into snitches and “droughtshaming” each other on social media, and if it continues, the cost of produce could soar nationwide (considering much of the country’s fruits and veggies are grown there).

Now, it has come to light that three billion gallons of fracking wastewater has “accidentally” been pumped into clean aquifers there.

Via Zero Hedge’s Tyler Durden:

Dear California readers: if you drank tapwater this morning (or at any point in the past few weeks/months), you may be in luck as you no longer need to buy oil to lubricate your engine: just use your blood, and think of the cost-savings. That’s the good news.

Also, the bad news, because as the California’s Department of Conservation’s Chief Deputy Director, Jason Marshall, told NBC Bay Area, California state officials allowed oil and gas companies to pump up to 3 billion gallons (call it 70 million barrels) of oil fracking-contaminated waste water into formerly clean aquifers, aquifers which at least on paper are supposed to be off-limits to that kind of activity, and are protected by the government’s EPA – an agency which, it appears, was richly compensated by the same oil and gas companies to look elsewhere.

And the scariest words of admission one can ever hear from a government apparatchik: “In multiple different places of the permitting process an error could have been made.”[his emphasis, not mine]

With natural gas — primarily shale natural gas from fracking — as the trendy new market in the U.S. and elsewhere, fracking operations are a booming business these days (and so are the earthquake swarms which have been tied to it in studies). The Council on Foreign Relations, the secretive para-government think tank, even issued a report explicitly identifying fracking as one of the main keys to new North American energy markets in the coming years.

Sadly, with a crony Corporate Gubbernut that protects big business interests over people every chance it gets pretty much without fail, this probably won’t be the last time we see a disgusting headline like this in the coming years.

(Attn: suzy blah blah. You’ll like this one ~Mayor Strehl is also my shoe-guy).

Good evening Mayor Strehl and Council Members,

The City of Fortuna states as its mission, to be worthy of the public trust by providing timely, efficient, dependable, and well-planned services to the community.

Wednesday, November 12th on or about 2:15 p.m., i, was motioned roadside by M. Soeth, one of Fortuna’s State Code Enforcers. Mr. Soeth refused to tell me his first name or badge number. I asked if there was an emergency? He said, no. I asked did he acknowledge that I am traveling and not Driving commercially for profit over the public roads? This he could not comprehend. He repeatedly asked me for D/L, Registration and insurance. I answered several times to his mantra -no I do not have those because I am not Driving commercially for-profit. He asked me to get out of my car, that he was going to have it impounded. I asked him if he witnessed me committing a crime? He said, yes. What? Speeding. I informed him that the elements of a crime include: 1) somebody or somebody’s property is damaged 2) there is intent 3) and/or Breach of the Peace. No injury=No jurisdiction. Soeth’s back-up for this State Corporate Theft of one of the people, showed up to assist in stealing my car. This State Revenue Generator guy wasn’t keeping his name a secret, Aaron Starcher. He also told me Soeth’s first name is Max. I explained and tried to show Max Soeth papers from Mendocino Court where seven charges, just like the ones he’s attempting to “Charge” the Estate account –ALL CAPS NAME- with, had all been dismissed and trial dates vacated. I then asked Mr. Starcher to tell me his Oath, and what it means. He said that he is here to “Protect and Serve.” I asked him how unlawfully stealing personal property from one of the people could possibly be “Protect and Serve?” That his oath is to the law of the land, NOT a for-profit State Corporation, labeled Government. (This was like trying to talk Shakespeare to a Hershey Bar).

State Code Enforcer Soeth beLIEves he has some power that others don’t, as he then ordered me where to stand and where to sit!!  I had to ask the name of the local “do-gooder” tow agency. Soeth said; Eel River . . When the tow truck agency came I was walking over to ask this guy his name, when Starcher said for me not to approach him and go stand in front of MY CAR. (THAT I OWN). I didn’t comply, consent or cooperate to his request. Armed Starcher then threatened me with: “THAT WASN’T A REQUEST. THAT WAS AN ORDER!” By this time I was close enough to ask tow-guy his name. He also refused to give me his name. I said, “Wait! You three males, two armed, are stealing my transportation, and I’m not to know who the Contracted party is to this theft? This guy was as rude and uninformed as Soeth and Starcher. He barked at me, raising his hands in the air and yelled “Get away from me!”   No business card was offered, no address. Nothing. Five days later, no mail communication– NOTHING. I don’t know where my car is. I was left on-foot by the side of the road. Btw, I was on my way to the Law Library in Eureka. Without transportation, I’m now denied equal access to law.

To the point>>>I will commence a Title 42 Action in the Federal District Court. Along with Soeth, Starcher, tow-guy and spouses, The City of Fortuna, and each City Council member and spouses will be sued in their official and personal capacity for failure in supervising its Protocol Practicing Policy Police Dept. by promoting “Policy” to violate the people’s endowed rights.

Unlawful arrest.

Warrant-less seizure.

Failure of substantive due process.

Impersonating a Public Servant.

Armed robbery.

Fraudulent conveyance of language to extort the rights and wealth of the people.

Denial of equal access to law.

-My Fourth and Fifth in Amendment to the Constitution for the united States of America, the law of the land, have been violated.

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or Affirmation . . . “

I no longer feel safe and secure . . . in the “friendly city” of Fortuna.

WHEREAS, officials and even judges have no immunity (See; Owen vs City of Independence, 100 S. Ct. 1938. Maine vs Thiboutot, 100 S. Ct., and Hafer vs. Melo, 502 U.S. 21): officials and judges are deemed to know the law and sworn to uphold the law; officials and judges cannot claim to act in good faith in willful deprivation of law; they certainly cannot plead ignorance of the law; even the citizen cannot plead ignorance of the law, the courts have ruled there is no such thing as ignorance of the law, therefore, there is no immunity, judicial or otherwise, in matters of rights secured by the Constitution of the United States for America. See: Title 42 U.S.C. Sec. 1983.

First and foremost, before anything else even applies, did STATE acquire standing to punish by proving on the record that a regulatable activity over which the State had enforcement authority was actually being engaged in by me, and my transportation was being Used as a “motor vehicle” for that purpose? If the truck/car/van is Not being used for commercial purposes, then, its seizure was illegal, because the lawful authority for it was applicable only to “motor vehicles” that ARE being used for Commerce.

“Every citizen and freeman is endowed with certain rights and privileges to enjoy which no written law or statute is required. These are the fundamental or natural rights, recognized among all free people.” U.S. v. Morris.

“The Right of the Citizen to travel upon the public highways and to transport his property thereon, either by horse drawn carriage or by automobile, is not a mere privilege which a city can prohibit or permit at will, but a common Right which he has under the right to life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.” Thompson vs. Smith (1930).

Justice Tolman of the Supreme Court of the state of Washington, stated:             “Complete freedom of the highways is so old and well established a blessing that we have forgotten the days of Robber Barons and toll roads, and yet, under an act like this, arbitrarily administered, the highways may be completely monopolized, if, through lack of interest, the people submit, then they may look to see the most sacred of their liberties taken away from them one by one, by more or less rapid encroachment.”           Robertson vs. Department of Public Works.

“Where rights secured by the Constitution are involved, there can be no rule making or legislation which would abrogate them.” Miranda vs. Arizona (1966).

“There can be no sanction or penalty imposed upon one because of his exercise of constitutional rights.” Sherar vs. Cullen (1973).

“People of a state are entitled to all rights, which formerly belonged to the King by his prerogative.” Lansing v Smith (1829).

“Sovereignty itself is, of course, not subject to law, for it is the author and source of law; while sovereign powers are delegated to the agencies of government, sovereignty itself remains with the people, by whom and for whom all government exists and acts.”         Yick Wo v Hopkins, 118 US 356, at pg. 370.

“No State shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and charge a fee therefore.” Murdock v. Pennsylvania.

“The stopping of an automobile by a highway patrol officer for inspection of a driver’s license, or for any other purpose where it is accomplished by the authority of the officers, is an “arrest.” Robinson v. State of Tennessee.

“Any restraint, however slight, upon another’s liberty to come and go as one pleases, constitutes an “arrest.” Swetnam v. W.F. Woolworth Co. Arizona.

No other judicial establishment in recorded history has vested a titled nobility such prerogatives extorted from the submissive and unified masses. No other system has so methodically held the people in ignorance to facilitate their exploitation and continued subjection to arbitrary power. Under no other law has despotism so perfected and matured its illegitimate fruit.

Institutions and ‘Legal’ @Systems@ that cannot endure full and exhaustive investigation have no legitimate place in the 21st Century.

The use of any statutes, codes, rules, regulations, or court citations, within any document created by me, at any time, is only to NOTICE that which is applicable to Corporate Employees, and is not intended, nor shall it be construed, to mean that I have conferred, submitted to, or entered any jurisdiction alluded to thereby.

This doesn’t take a rocket surgeon. It does take “a few good people.”

I command My Public Servants to immediately release my personal property to me, a 1997 Bravada . . . and I will not look behind.

This afternoon as i was checking for the time of the City Council meeting, i read far enough, and remembered, that the Council can’t act on a non-Agenda item. I immediately emailed Linda Jensen, Fortuna’s City Clerk, and requested that this item be on the Agenda tonight as an emergency. (Ten miles from food store and two days of wood for heat). Five-ish i talked with Marilyn (Mrs. Strehl), and left the above with her, and also ‘Society Without The State: Law and Order in a Free World,’ for Mayor Strehl to have. She told me that he usually comes back by (shoe store) before going to the meeting. My ride and i parked over by the post office. I read the above to him. He said, “Too sarcastic.” We then returned to Strehl’s Shoe Shoppe. The Mayor, had indeed returned and was reading what i had left. I somewhat apologized for any sarcasm i wrote. He said, “Sometimes you have to be sarcastic to get your point across.”

In the City Council’s meeting room, i showed the Mayor a copy of the above mentioned Mendo. case as dismissed/vacated.   I spoke my allotted three minutes, reading here and there. Publically apologized for a late, but emergency, request to be placed on tonight’s Agenda. And, specifically, stated that, “I am not here to attack. I’m here to correct.”

My ride was getting impatient. Police Chief William Dobberstein was at a table just to my right. As i extended a copy of ‘the above,’ to him, he said he had a copy. The City Atturn. has a copy. Everybody has a copy.

To bee continued . . .

Everybody needs to be aware of and knowledgeable about this case, because this case is going to overturn everything.

It says that the Treaty making power is ONLY useful for external purposes and may not be used internally. That means that the Uniform Commercial Code is unconstitutional because the UCC is governed by the UNIDROIT Treaty. That overturns the IRS, the banksters, the BAR BARS defending the fraud, and everything that is going on right now.

It is all a FRAUD!

CARTELS OF THE MIND: a movie that never was

by Jon Rappoport

“Dominoes of the collective begin to fall. The whole stinking structure collapses, a wing here and a wing there, and the robots open their eyes and turn off their cameras.”

Several years ago, after reading an article of mine, a producer approached me about writing a movie script. He wasn’t sure whether he wanted it to be a documentary or a feature. But he wanted it to be “heroic,” he said. And long. Five or six hours.

We had discussions. I sent him notes. The tentative title was, “Cartels of the Mind.” He eventually wobbled, then disappeared.

Here are some of those preliminary notes. They’re not always sequential. And I’ve recently added one or two comments——-

If you can’t see the background of a crime, you aren’t seeing the crime, you’re seeing the sensational effects, that’s all.

There are people who want their own minds to look exactly like the world. They want their minds to look like photographs of the world. This is what they strive for. The idea that they could invent something is so terrifying they opt instead for the world as it is.

This is what amused the surrealists. They started turning things upside down and inside out. They were reacting to humans who had made themselves into robots. Into robot cameras.

The Surveillance State is a robot camera. It captures everything, based on the premise that what isn’t Normal is dangerous.

The cartels of the world become the cartels of the mind.

At the outbreak of World War 2, the Council on Foreign Relations began making plans for the post-war world. The question it posed was this: could America exist as a self-sufficient nation, or would it have to go outside its borders for vital resources?

Predictably, the answer was: Imperial Empire.

The US Corp. would not only need to obtain natural resources abroad, it would have to embark on endless conquest to assure continued access.

The CFR, of course, wasn’t just some think tank. It was connected to the highest levels of US government, through the State Department. A front for Rockefeller interests, it actually stood above the government.

Behind all its machinations was the presumption that planned societies were the future of the planet. Not open societies.

Through wars, clandestine operations, legislation, treaties, manipulation of nations’ debt, control of banks and money supplies, countries could be turned into “managed units.”

Increasingly, the populations of countries would be regulated and directed and held in thrall to the State.

And the individual? He would go the way of other extinct species.

For several decades, the pseudo-discipline called “social science” had been turning out reams of studies and reports on tribes, societal groupings, and so-called classes of people.

Deeply embedded in the social sciences were psychological warfare specialists who, after World War 2, emerged with a new academic status and new field of study: mass communications.

Their objective? The broadcasting of messages that would, in accordance with political goals, provoke hostility or pacified acceptance in the masses.

Hostility channeled into support of new wars; acceptance of greater domestic government control.

Nowhere in these formulas was the individual protected. He was considered a wild card, a loose cannon, and he needed to be demeaned, made an outsider, and characterized as a criminal who opposed the needs of the collective.

Collective=robot minds welded into one mind.

As the years and decades passed, this notion of the collective and its requirements, in a “humane civilization,” expanded. Never mind that out of view, the rich were getting richer and poor were getting poorer. That fact was downplayed, and the cover story–“share and care”—took center stage.

On every level of society, people were urged to think of themselves as part of a greater group. The individual and his hopes, his unique dreams, his desires and energies, his determination and will power…all these were portrayed as relics of an unworkable and deluded past.

In many cases, lone pioneers who were innovating in directions that could, in fact, benefit all of humanity, were absorbed into the one body of the collective, heralded as humane…and then dumped on the side of the road with their inventions and forgotten.

In the planned society, no one rises above the mass, except those men who run and operate and propagandize the mass.

In order to affect the illusion of individual success, as a kind of safety valve for the yearnings of millions of people, the cult of celebrity emerged. But even there, extraordinary tales of rise and then precipitous fall, glory and then humiliation, were and are presented as cautionary melodramas.

This could happen to you. You would be exposed. You would suffer the consequences. Let others take the fall. Keep your mind blank. Do nothing unusual. Shorten your attention span. Disable your own mental machinery. Then you’ll never be tempted to stand out from the mass.

The onrush of technocracy gears its wild promises to genetic manipulation, brain-machine interfaces, and other automatic downloads assuring “greater life.” No effort required. Plug in, and ascend to new heights.

Freedom? Independence? Old flickering dreams vicariously viewed on a screen.

Individual greatness, imagination, creative power? A sunken galleon loaded with treasure that, upon closer investigation, was never there to begin with. The Plan is all that is important. The plan involves universal surveillance, in order to map the lives of billions of people, move by move, in order to design systems of control within which those billions live, day to day.

But the worst outcome of all is: the individual cannot even conceive of his own life and future in large terms. The individual responds to tighter and control with a shrug, as if to say, “What difference does it make?”

He has bought the collectivist package. His own uniqueness and inner resources are submerged under layers of passive acceptance of the consensus.

And make no mistake about it, this consensus reality, for all its exaltation of the group, is not heraldic in any sense. The propagandized veneer covers a cynical exploitation of every man, woman, and child.

Strapped by an amnesia about his own freedom and what it can truly mean, the individual opts for a place in the collective gloom. He may grumble and complain, but he fits in.

He can’t remember another possibility.

Every enterprise in which he finds himself turns out to be a pale copy of the real thing.

The deep energies and power and desire for freedom remain untapped.

Yet a struggle continues to live. It lives in the hidden places of every individual who wants out, who wants to come back to himself, who wants to stride out on a stage.

Freedom and power again. The shattering of amnesia.

In this stolen nation.

The extinct individual returns.

Petty little hungers and obsessions become great hungers.

Dominoes of the collective begin to fall. The whole stinking structure collapses, a wing here and a wing there, and the robots open their eyes and turn off their cameras.

The vast sticky web called “the people” begins to disintegrate in roaring cities and in the mind.

A new instructive message appears on billboards and screens: “normal=crazy.”

Picture 31By: Jeff Deist                                                                                   the President of Mises Institute

This article is adapted from a speech delivered November 8th, at the 2014 Costa Mesa Mises Circle.

I promised you some optimism today. Perhaps one of the most optimistic libertarians ever was Murray Rothbard, a happy intellectual warrior if ever there was one. And he was very enthusiastic about the revolution of libertarian ideas, because he understood fundamentally that liberty is the only manner of organizing society that is compatible with human nature and human action. And it was this optimism, this unshakeable belief that we’re right and the Statists are wrong, that drove him to produce a staggering body of work in defense of personal liberty. Now let me stress that Rothbard, despite his reputation as an uncompromising intellectual, saw his efforts as pragmatic, not utopian. He understood quite clearly that utopianism was the hallmark of the state’s intellectual champions, not the state’s detractors. He understood that utopianism and Statism, not liberty, produced the great monsters and the great wars of the twentieth century.

Most of all, he understood that the true utopians are the central planners who believe they can overcome human nature and steer human actors like cattle. To quote Murray: “The man who puts all the guns and all the decision-making power into the hands of the central government and then says, ‘Limit yourself’; it is he who is truly the impractical utopian.” In Rothbard’s eyes a libertarian world would be better, not perfect. So while our revolution is indeed intellectual, it is also optimistic and pragmatic. We should talk about liberty in terms of first principles, and how those principles make for a better society precisely because they accord with the innate human desire for liberty. Let the Statists explain their grand schemes, while we offer a realistic vision of a world organized around civil society and markets.

Now, all of us who are liberty-minded have heard at least some version of the “unrealistic” accusation, “Oh, libertarianism would be great but it’s unrealistic,” they say. It’s one thing to talk about anarcho-capitalism in a dorm room discussion or philosophy lecture, but such a society is too impractical and idealistic for the real world. States have existed for as long as human societies, you’ll never get rid of them. Some might even go so far as to claim that a market exists for Government “services,” seeing how States seem to keep cropping up in human history.

But let’s examine this. If you believe the State is harmful rather than benevolent; if you believe that the State threatens individual rights and property rights, rather than protects them; if you believe that the State decreases our chances for peace and prosperity; if you believe, in sum, that the State is an overwhelming force for ill in our society, a force that makes all of us far worse off, why in the world is it unrealistic to work toward its elimination?

Notice that the charge of being unrealistic, impractical, or overly idealistic is never applied to medicine or crime prevention. Nobody says to the cancer researcher, “you should be more realistic, cancer and infectious disease will always exist. Why not just work on making the common cold a bit less severe?” Nobody says to the criminal investigator, “gee, organized crime and violence are just part of human nature, it’s useless to try to prevent them. Maybe you should just focus on reducing bike thefts.”

So why should we be apologetic or timid or less than fully optimistic in our fight against the State? We should not. Like the cancer researcher, like the crime fighter, we should be bold, we should be optimistic, and we should be vigorous in our opposition to Government. We should be every bit as certain as Murray Rothbard was in the eventual success of our mission.

I’m Optimistic Because the State Is Fiscally Unsustainable

Rest assured we will win. The State, at least as currently constituted by the US and most western nations, is dying under the weight of its sheer fiscal unsustainability.

I’m curious as to whether some of you have heard of Herbert Stein. You may know Ben Stein from “Win Ben Stein’s Money” and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. Herbert Stein was his dad. Herbert Stein was an economist, and chairman of the Council of Economic Advisors, a kind of cheerleading squad, for presidents Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. He’s not my kind of economist, and was only faintly free market, but he was still an economist. And apparently an interesting man: in his later years he briefly wrote an anonymous “Dear Prudence” advice column for Slate and print papers.

Herbert Stein came up with his own law, known as Herbert Stein’s law. It goes like this: “If something cannot go on forever, it will stop.” It sounds simple. He used it to describe economic trends like balance of payments deficits. He meant that no program was needed to stop something that would stop by itself, something that could not be sustained. And clearly, the US Federal Government, the largest and most powerful Government that ever existed, cannot be sustained. Not in the fiscal sense. No way, no how.

We’re not talking simply about the $17 trillion in Treasury bond debt the Federal Government owes its creditors. We’re talking about unsustainability on a much larger level. Economist Laurence Kotlikoff uses a concept known as the fiscal gap, which is much more accurate, and much more depressing, than tracking Treasury debt. The fiscal gap basically measures the present value of future tax revenues against the present value of future Government obligations. So not just Treasury bond debt, but also Social Security, Medicare, Welfare entitlements, etc. And Kotlikoff came up with a fiscal gap of more than $200 TRILLION. Let me repeat that: $200 TRILLION. Now we don’t have time today to discuss the details of the Federal Government’s fiscal situation, and how this fiscal gap came to be. But rest assured the reality is wildly worse than virtually anyone in government or the mainstream press will admit.

Understand that there is zero political will in Washington to cut the big ticket items like Social Security, Medicare, welfare, and defense. Zero. Remember the howls during the sequestration debates? Witness the outrage when Congress merely considers cuts in the rate of growth of certain programs! There is zero political will in Washington for huge tax increases, which wouldn’t help anyway. Politics will not solve this problem. The Federal Government’s fiscal reality cannot be fixed, politically or economically. We cannot grow our way out of it. The numbers behind Kotlikoff’s fiscal gap simply cannot be overcome, they can only be put off — and made worse — by endless monetary expansion.

It may seem almost funny, but this reality should give us cause for optimism. We know the current arrangement cannot continue, so we — as liberty minded people — have a tremendous opportunity to recognize this and begin building the future. We don’t have to labor under the delusion that everything will continue as usual, that the system will work if only we reform it or tinker with it or elect the right people. We can be honest and recognize that democracy doesn’t work, it can’t work, and the sooner it is exposed as a failure the better. We should celebrate this understanding, because no progress toward liberty can occur until we understand reality and understand the problem at hand.

I’m Optimistic Because the State Is Intellectually Unsustainable

But there is a deeper and more satisfying reason for us to be optimistic. The State is not only fiscally unsustainable, it’s intellectually unsustainable as well. We should be optimistic because we’re living at the beginning of what Hans-Hermann Hoppe calls a “bottom-up” revolution. Bottom-up because it starts at the individual and hyper-local level. Bottom-up because it relies on radical decentralization and political secession. Bottom-up because it bypasses politics and traditional power structures. Bottom-up because it bypasses State schools, State intellectuals, and State media.

Governments, and the political classes who run them, are facing a nonviolent revolution of ideas that was scarcely imaginable just twenty years ago. And this revolution will strike at the heart of these States’ only true asset: their legitimacy in the eyes of those they would govern. The bottom-up revolution is based on informed individuals who increasingly don’t need elites, political, academic, or scientific, to run their lives. It is based on the recognition that national and global governance schemes have failed to solve, or even address, huge structural problems like hunger, medical care, energy, and economic development. It is based on radical decentralization, political and otherwise, because the vast diversity of individual interests demands an end to top-down Government edicts and bullying by 51 percent of the electorate.

This can happen — and is happening — without even a tacit acceptance or understanding of liberty among the majority of people necessarily. They simply see with their own eyes that the State doesn’t work, so naturally they seek another way. I think this is especially true of millennials, who are not particularly libertarian but yet still deeply distrustful of Government.

Technology plays a huge role in this bottom-up revolution. Technology has given us the ability to find fellow travelers anywhere in the world, and to compare notes on what our would-be rulers are doing. It has taken the monopoly over the marketplace of ideas away from traditional media outlets. It has enormously lowered the cost of learning and acquiring knowledge. It has literally brought the vast store of human knowledge to our fingertips! Governments will have an awfully hard time keeping all this information, not to mention the ideas of liberty, away from people who are increasingly connected and hungry for a better life.

The toothpaste is out of the tube, so to speak. To be absolutely clear: technology is not an ideology. And technology is used by the State, just as it is used against the State. Imagine J. Edgar Hoover with today’s NSA apparatus available to him! And technology can never change the fundamental choice before us: liberty or Statism. There is no “third way.” Either humans deal with one another voluntarily, through civil society and markets, or they deal with each other using compulsion, through crime or Government. Economic means or political means, the age-old choice remains the same.

But the free and virtually instantaneous flow of information has radically transformed the world. Governments like to talk about democracy. Well, they’re about to get it good and hard. Real democracy, where people vote with their feet, their wallets, and their mobile devices, across borders.

I’m optimistic that this global interconnectedness will pose a huge threat to the viability of many nation-states, and to their political ruling classes as a result. People are now connected by ideas, by interests, by shared values, by commerce and not only by geography and nationality. In fact, geography and nationality are shrinking in importance every day.

Perhaps the greatest legacy of the online revolution will be the demise of State education systems. Teacher unions, lousy and compulsory schools, huge administrative bureaucracies, outlandish pensions, and crushing student loan debt clearly are unsustainable. Government schools clearly cost too much and teach too little of importance, like classical languages, rigorous math and science, skilled trades, and money management. What they do teach is often harmful and Statist — the whole panoply of victim’s studies.

Liberty is not possible in a society filled with ill-educated, State-indoctrinated people. So the need for separation of education and State has never been greater, and it’s at our doorstep. The online education revolution, still in its infancy, will make learning cheaper, easier, more efficient, and — most importantly — accountable. Market-based education will produce actual results — the antithesis of Government education. We should all be happy to witness the State’s education model crumbling.

All of these happy developments will take place at their own pace, sometimes quickly — as with the fall of the former Soviet Union — and sometimes slowly. There is great cause for optimism that this bottom-up revolution can take place inexorably, and nonviolently. There are no guarantees, of course, and political interests can be expected to react violently when threatened. But many of these seismic shifts are already underway, and one gets the sense that power is flowing away from the political classes, slowly but surely. States and Statists are losing their greatest asset, legitimacy.

None of this withering away of state legitimacy should surprise us. Just as Mises conclusively explained the impossibility of socialism as an economic system, the great Spanish economist Jesús Huerta de Soto and others make the case for the impossibility of Statism as a social, legal, and political system. As Huerta de Soto explains, it simply is not possible intellectually to defend a coercive central State with a monopoly on aggression. Such a State cannot achieve its coordination goals, just like central economic planners cannot know the price to place on a bushel of wheat or the number of automobiles to produce. The huge volume of information an all-encompassing State would need is too dispersed, too tacit, too quickly changing, and too distorted when commanded by the State rather than received by markets.

It’s not liberty that’s impossible ladies and gentlemen, it’s Statism.

Personally, I don’t care if you call yourself a conservative, a constitutionalist, a classical liberal, a libertarian, a minarchist, an anarcho-capitalist, a progressive or whatever — this message is for you. All that matters is you recognize and agree that the State is out of control, even if just in one area, like drug laws or foreign policy — we can work out the details later! We are so far from what anyone in this room envisions as a free society that many of these labels and differences seem petty, to say the least.

Murray Rothbard used a freedom train metaphor that I think applies quite well today; he actually borrowed it from the late Gene Burns, who was a phenomenal talk radio host for years in San Francisco.

The freedom train metaphor for building a movement is very simple: if you want more freedom, join us. Get on the train. You can get off whenever you like. Maybe you favor 60 percent of our ideas, or 80 percent, or 90 percent, or whatever. Just join us and go as far as you like, get off when you like. As I said earlier, we are so far from what anyone in this room considers a free society that we hardly should concern ourselves about it now. Let’s just get the train moving in the right direction! I really like this metaphor; it sure beats endlessly putting ourselves in narrow boxes.

So in closing let me encourage you to embrace an optimistic strategy for liberty. Understand that we simply don’t have to convince everyone, or even a majority of people, that liberty is better. We certainly don’t have to convince our opponents. Today, just as in colonial America during our revolution, most people are fence sitters.

As talk radio host Herman Cain recently said to a caller, we can only save those who would be saved. Far too often we let the Statists frame the debate. Far too often liberty-minded people are defined by what we oppose — Government — rather than by what we propose: liberty.

So propose liberty, and make the case for optimism. After all, despite the State and its depredations we still lead magnificent lives compared to virtually every human who ever walked the earth — Kings and Queens included. If we let the State make us unhappy or pessimistic about our future, we will have failed not only our children and grandchildren, but our ancestors as well.

Thank you.

Would They push a vaccine for a disease that doesn’t exist?

Would They try to force it on people? Fire health-care workers who wouldn’t take it?

Let me put the question in a slightly different way: Would They push a vaccine for a disease where the overwhelming number of diagnosed cases are false?

Here’s a citation: Peter Doshi, ” Influenza: Marketing Vaccines by Marketing Disease” (BMJ 2013; 346:f3037):

“…few people realize that even the ideal influenza vaccine, matched perfectly to circulating strains of wild influenza and capable of stopping all influenza viruses, can only deal with a small part of the ‘flu’ problem…Every year, hundreds of thousands of respiratory specimens are tested across America. Of those tested, on average 16% are found to be influenza positive….It’s no wonder so many people feel that ‘flu shots’ don’t work: For most flus, they can’t.”

Even if you believe that vaccines work, do what they’re supposed to do, create genuine immunity, the Corporate Government is pushing a flu vaccine that, in at least 84% percent of “flu cases,” couldn’t work, because those people don’t have the flu.

This is called a clue.

It tells you that vaccines don’t need to be relevant to human disease. They’re products. The authorities buy them, promote them, help sell them.

In past articles on Ebola, I’ve pointed out that the standard diagnostic tests (antibody and PCR) fail to properly ID anyone as “Ebola.”

On top of that, you can bet that most “Ebola cases” in West Africa are diagnosed without tests, but instead by eyeball, when general symptoms are present—symptoms which can be caused by any number of factors.

So when the Ebola vaccine comes along, we’ll see a situation at least as ridiculous as the flu fiasco I described above.

And when you add in very real dangers—unknown genes inserted in the vaccines, a chimp or rabies virus carrying those genes and potentially reproducing and spreading in the body, toxic chemicals added to the vaccine as preservatives and “promoters of potency,” and who knows what else folded into the vaccine—you have a disaster waiting to happen.

POLICE STATE: Bundy Family at Sky Harbor Airport (PHX) Treated as DOMESTIC TERRORISTS

Ammon BundyAmmon-Bundy

This morning (November 1, 2014) my twelve year-old daughter and I tried to fly to Salt Lake City from Phoenix for a special event of a loved one. We had to be there by 1:00 pm in order to be a part of the occasion. Everything was going as planned until we came to the Gate B check station and the first TSA agent looked at our boarding passes. He seemed a bit alarmed and asked me if my name was Ammon. I told him yes. He then circled my name and sent me down the line. I could tell there was suspicion but thought it may be because my daughter was a minor, or because my name is unusual and sometimes taken as Arabic.

When we reached the actual check station the Second TSA agent saw my boarding pass and immediately called for a Commanding Officer on the radio. Over the coarse (course) of several minutes he called multiple times for assistance, meanwhile the line behind me was stopped and backing up. When the Commanding Officer finally came, the two agents conversed privately as they looked at my boarding pass. The Commanding Officer then directed me to an area and confiscated all of our possessions along with my clothing -such as my boots, belt, jacket and so on.

By this time, we were feeling a bit scrutinized and those around us were staring and talking among themselves of the matter. They then escorted us to a back area were they rummaged through our items, testing with devices and inspecting each article. The agent then began to check me physically and boy was that uncomfortable, no cavity check was completed but everything else was.

I asked the agent why we were being treated so differently and why we were selected out. He told me it was because my boarding pass was tagged with the bold letters “SSSS”. He also said that this will happen every time you fly because you are marked. Beyond that he did not disclose of anything else. My daughter then asked him if she could put her shoes back on. The agent said that she could, but that I was not to touch my possessions. He then called for his Commanding Officer.

After a few minutes, the Level Three Officer showed up and asked me several questions and wrote the answers down on a yellow sticky note. This Commanding Officer then went to a computer and began typing and reading. The whole thing was very interesting to me. I thought to myself, “WOW, Harry Reid really does have me tagged in the Federal data base as a Domestic Terrorist.” I have never been charged or prosecuted for anything in my life, and yet Senator Reid, with out due process, has declared me, for life, as a Domestic Terrorist! He unilaterally named me, Ammon Bundy, as a “Terrorist against the people of this country.” The people I love and would so willingly give my life for.

After the Commanding Officer typed a few things in the computer, my boarding pass was written on and hole punched 5 times with stars mostly over the SSSS (see picture). Our possessions were then returned and we were free to go to the boarding gate. When we left the security area many people were looking at us in curiosity. The entire process took about an hour. My daughter and I did not make our flight. We knew we would not make it to the event even if we got on another flight, so we left the boarding gate area and went to ask for a refund from US Airlines.

U.S. Airlines resisted issuing a refund at first. They insisted that they could not be held accountable for what the (Corporate) Gov. chose to do. I showed them the boarding pass and the SSSS, then told them why I believed I was marked and harassed. They immediately began to process the refund request. One lady said, “That sends chills up my spine that they would do that to you.”  I thanked them and we left the airport.Bundy-BP-Nov-1-2014

This incident reaffirmed to me the danger that we, the American people, are in. When a very small group of elitist use the people’s power without authority, and are willing to destroy the lives of those who disagree or stand up to them –when this type of unlimited power is commonly exercised without checks and balances, the people are in danger.

money_trees_by_kitiekat4u-d2z0frl~what queen came away with after an hour at the Kanabosom meeting in Blue Lake Thursday evening, was this:

  1. The panel of speakers are still seeking the criminals and thieve’s External Authority approval.
  1. They are lost in a thicket of interpretation and re-interpretation.
  1. They spoke in slave-speak.
  1. They don’t think outside the box. They think about everything with the current @System@ as a given, not actually thinking about the whole situation in a world without Statutes, in order to make a comparison between that and the present @System@
  1. They base culture on money.

Kanabosom – sacred sacrament plant spoken of by the ancients.                           Cannabis – flowers and leaves only.                                                                       Marijuana – Jack Herer warned us – “It’s a mongrel word.”

The error is to apply mathematical plus-and-minus values to nature, resulting in the separation of mind and body or spirit and matter, into unrelated oppositional domains.

The facts are presented but the obvious remains unstated. What is it that prevents us from discussing the obvious?

Faith is a great gift of the human race. Faith in oneself. Faith that one can do certain things. Faith that one will realize the opportunity when it comes by.
