THE NEXT GREAT DEPRESSION HAS ARRIVED

From our group:

Dear Neighbors and Loved Ones-

It is with great sadness and concern that we come to you with the news that the Next Great Depression has arrived, along with the specter of war. Last Friday’s stock downturn was the 9th worst day in the history of the US stock market, and the 888 point drop was larger than the 777 point loss on September 29, 2008 and the biggest selloff in four years. (LINK, LINK). Any efforts to recover from these losses will hit a brick wall with the fact that the US has $7.7 – 9.0 TRILLLION coming due this next December as the Bush tax cuts end.

The Mother Of All Crashes (MOAC) is here, and will not go away for a long time. We are in more debt, have decimated our manufacturing capability by outsourcing, and we are involved in three major global conflicts and currency wars that assure our destruction. The BEST that we can HOPE for is a ‘Greece’ situation. However, when we look at the socio-economic situation in Greece, the hair on the backs of our neck stand on end.

GREECE

In Greece all the personal and corporate pensions have been crushed, protests are rampant, people cannot feed themselves, and ‘austerity’ taxing and working well beyond retirement is a ‘given’ situation. People have sold their homes and are living in houses with multiple families to stay off the streets. Government foreclosures have been halted to prevent a flood of homeless into society. Pensions have been looted, and the run on banks have forced banks to institute ridiculously low daily withdrawals on accounts.

Mothers in Greece cannot care for their newborn children to the point that babies have been left on the doorsteps of police stations and fire departments in the hopes that the government will care for the children. The situation has become so bad that outside government building cardboard boxes have been placed with flashing lights on top, so that when a baby is put into the box the light flashes and the baby can be taken into care (Ref: Economist ‘V’ at roguemoney.net).

As bad as that is, things will get worse on Greece. With the agreement for austerity measures approved, the EU is moving for more pain on the people in Greece (more austerity), and is fast tracking mortgage foreclosures that will make hundreds of thousands of people homeless, and clears the way for ‘bail-ins’ where failed banks walk away from all business and give their depositors worthless shares of the failed bank. With the exception of the babies in boxes, we see all these things resting on the US public soon. Legislation and actions are moving in the same direction here in the US for pensions, banks, multiple family dwellings, foreclosures, and evictions. If you think that the FDIC will come to your rescue with insurance on your bank account – think again. Recent legislation (passed while the US public was sleeping) defines account holders as ‘unsecured investors,’ and the policies for ‘bail-in’ are in place.

Wars and Currency Wars

CHINA – Many proxy conflicts are underway, as well as nation-states positioning for ground troop and possibly regional tactical nuclear conflict. Back in June China accused Morgan Stanley of shorting the SHCOMP (Chinese stock market) and responded with selling off US treasuries (LINK). The Chinese stock market ‘crash’ on 27 July was its largest in history and was blamed on (you guessed it) Morgan Stanley. As the Chinese market (apparently) came under attack forcing the SHCOMP market from 5200 to 3500 the Chinese responded with: 1) cyber-attacks on our telecoms/internet through Brazil and China (Huntsville/Madison was one of the targets); 2) kicking the US out of Djibouti; 3) dumping $500 Billion in US treasury bonds; and 4) a series of Chinese currency devaluations that cost the US hundreds of billions of $. The US responded with rejecting China out of the IMF Special Drawing Rights (international loan access to the US/UK led central banks), and maybe something more sinister.

On August 11 China devalued its currency by 2%. On August 12 there was a horrible explosion in Tianjin that was suspicious in nature to the point that some think that the US did it in retaliation to devaluing their currency. (LINK, LINK). If you haven’t seen the explosion, we suggest that you look at it (LINK, LINK, LINK). People who believe that this was no accident point to the circumferential compression fractures in the soil around the 5 acre explosion crater that seem to indicate that the explosion was a subsurface event (not a surface accidental fire / explosion). The location and timing of the explosion also adds fuel to the fire that this was not an accident – as the crater is 2 miles from ECO City (LINK) in Tianjin, where the Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB) will be officially started next month; which is a rival to the US/UK IMF, World Bank, Bank of International Settlements. Time will tell.

[Note: As I write this (2pm CST, Sunday, 23AUG15) there has been a large explosion at Sagamihara US military base supply depot in Japan, about 30 miles ESW of Tokyo.]

RUSSIA – News reports coming out of Russia and Ireland report that 90,000 Russian troops, an unknown number of main battle tanks, as well as (tactical) nuclear capable ‘Iskander’ missiles are moving to the Ukraine border with orders that include the use of tactical nuclear weapons (LINK,LINK). Apparently Russia believes that the Trident Juncture (LINK) military exercise is a cover for deploying assets to attack Russia and is planning to unleash nuclear weapons if that happens. Regardless, things do not look good at all (LINK).

The US Economy

The last two business days we have seen a definite downturn in sentiment and momentum in the markets. The whole world is feeling the recession as the German DAX, UK FTSE, etc.; suffered significant losses. In the last two weeks the DOW executed a ‘Death Cross’ pattern where the 50 day moving average broke significantly below the 200 day moving average. What this means in layman’s terms is that the market is going down and there is no upward momentum to slow it down, let alone stop it.

What we see is a continued downtrend next week, trending downward until a significant downward break in mid- to late September. This will break the confidence of savvy institutional investors who know about the $7.7 – 9.0 Trillion debt and ending Bush tax break coming due in December, and they will not come back into the market. That major support will be gone.

Foreign investment will scramble for the exits, and this will likely destroy the derivatives market that has underpinned this economy, and (just like in 1987, and 2001) you will not be able to sell your stock equities because: 1) there will be no buyers, and 2) executing a trade will be next to impossible as the brokers will take their phones off the hooks.

This crash will usher in a wave of employee firings as businesses cope with the deflationary shift where no one buys anything other than absolute necessities as fear grows. This fear cycle will feed on itself until we have violence in the streets.

To add insult to extreme injury: 1) the AIIB will be unveiled in (September or possibly in October) as a fiscally responsible alternative to the colossally indebted IMF/WB/BIS. Some 56 nations are charter members and over 130 are participants. 2) In October 9-10 in Lima Peru the IMF will have its fall meeting, and may set forth the plan to devalue/normalize currencies (this will hurt the US very badly as we have crushing debt). 3) The Chinese government will disclose its gold holdings (which are likely ~20,000 metric tonnes compared to our US advertised 8,000 tonnes), and may disclose it all in an effort to destroy the US economy. Regardless China will press for a full and open disclosure audit of our gold holdings, which will reveal that our national treasury has been looted.

What to Expect

These next few weeks to months will reveal the ugly side of our economy and society. Starting next week we can expect sharp drops, and ‘circuit breaker’ actions that try to slow the freefall we have begun. By no later than October we can expect violence on the streets as people lose their jobs, banks close their teller windows and refuse to give people their money, and welfare checks stop. If the ‘just in time’ delivery logistics fail we will be in real (lethal) trouble as the winter will bring bitter cold to the northeast with problems delivering fuel for heat. A war in the Ukraine and/or the Middle East will skyrocket gas prices, but delivery and usage will likely be next to nothing.

Natural disasters are on track to be a problem, and increase as time goes on. It was recently reported that Nevada has had over 5,000 earthquakes this past year (LINK), and the USG issued at least two ‘imminent earthquake’ warnings in the past month (LINK). The meteor that hit Iran on 31 July may or may not be part of the increase in meteor activity… we will see (LINK).

Observations and Considerations

If you are a person that has been relying on creature comforts and material goods for your foundation of stability, you are likely in a bad spot. As time goes on we see that our money, material goods, and comforts are coming to an end… a very bad and violent end. As always, The Madison institute Association admonishes everyone to call on The God Of The Bible in trying times like these. Our minds, in general, are just not ready for what is to come. HE is a God of comfort and love to those who believe in HIM, and heated fury to those who are against HIS WILL. Please lean on HIM. If you do not know how, or need some guidance on this you can call one of our board members 256-468-3161 (George), or 256-425-3013 (Bud).

At this time one should consider plans to have cash on hand, food, transportation (gas), and a place to go that is safe if anything should happen. It would also be wise to have your important papers and medications on hand to be with you as well. The recent past events (like the flash conflagration at Bridge Street a week ago) should be a reminder that our society is very fragile and can turn… deadly… on a dime.

CALIFORNIA SENATOR WHO MADE VACCINES MANDATORY FACES RECALL

By Jenny Thompson

He’s being called a “Pharmatrician.”

I’m talking about pediatrician and California Senator Richard Pan, who authored the state’s dictatorial SB 277 law mandating vaccines for school kids.

The bill, which was ironically signed into law a few days before the 4th of July, strips California parents and grandparents of one of their most basic rights. That’s the right to refuse having the CDC vaccine schedule forced on their children, or else.

No shots, no school. No more personal or religious exemptions allowed.

But Californians have said “enough.” They’ve joined together to boot Pan out of office by having him unseated with a statewide vote.

And they’re not taking SB 277 lying down, either.

A referendum is in the works to get the vaccine law on the ballot next year. That would put it directly in the hands of the voters and let them decide its fate, rather than politicians bought and paid for by the drug companies.

A new form of discrimination

“This is we, the people, exercising the people’s veto.”

That’s what former assemblyman Tim Donnelly told the press when he started the referendum against SB 277. He said it’s not about the safety of vaccinations, but the “freedom of a parent to make an informed decision” without being punished by the state.

As it stands now, even if one shot is missed, a child in California will be barred from school. For example, if parents opt to skip the hepatitis B vaccine — a risky shot for a sexually transmitted disease — but have allowed their child to have every other shot, the child would still be denied an education.

Donnelly’s referendum will need to gather 366,000 signatures in the coming months, and he’s recruited several thousand volunteers to help collect them. He said the effort has galvanized state residents to the point where “we’ve got hardcore Christian conservatives working side by side with people on the far left.”

Now where Pan is concerned, all that’s needed is close to 36,000 signatures from voters in his district to trigger what’s called a “recall election.” Once they reach that goal, an election for Pan’s seat would take place within six months.

Pan originally said that he wasn’t at all concerned — but if he thought this was a joke, he’s in for a rude awakening.

Organizers have already jumped through several legal hoops with the state to start the recall, and volunteers are out collecting signatures.

And what Pan needs to worry about most is that this election is going to draw even more attention to his cozy and suspicious relationship with Big Pharma.

The Sacramento Bee reported that Pan received more than $95,000 from drug companies, making him the top recipient of pharma dollars among California lawmakers. And the drugmakers who donated, and helped push SB 277 into law, reads like a who’s who of the pharma world. Johnson & Johnson, GlaxoSmithKline, Eli Lilly and AstraZeneca were among the 20 leading names who threw more than $3 million into the hat.

No child in America should be denied an education. But what Pan and his political colleagues are pushing is a type of government-backed discrimination — one that allows politicians to decide who can attend school based on nothing but a vaccination history.

And hopefully the citizens of California won’t let this new brand of prejudice — and this attack on our freedoms — to take root.

ECONOMICS / EEK!

From my friend Merle

One thing is for certain, most people are frustrated about money and the economic mess that they endure. But when you try to get a straight answer, you get pushed aside with lame excuses, pat answers, and outright lies.

Secret of Economics

If you haven’t noticed the economic morass that’s shaking the world, let me point out that things are not good. Of course, the trained economists trot out explanations and predictions, but we all know that the easiest way to start a fight is to put two economists in the same room. Economics, as currently taught, is as scientific as counting the bumps on one’s head.

Why is Economics not a Science?

The simple fact is that the unit used for accounting trade, paper money, is a complete fraud. To have any scientific measure or predictions, one needs facts, not fraud.

Why is paper money a fraud?

In America’s case:

1) A Federal Reserve Note is a promise to pay “money,” not money itself.

2) A Federal Reserve Note was originally a promise to pay a gold dollar, on demand               (silver dollars were by a different certificate).

3) In 1933, the Government repudiated their notes, thus making them unredeemable,             worthless, and with no par value.

4) The underwriters of this debt, the signatories to applications for participation in Social         Security, were never informed of the Legal ramifications of their “contribution.”

That’s fraud.

Not-so-Great Britain had the Bank of England. Remember that a “pound note” once was redeemable for a pound of SILVER. [About $20 U.S. silver dollars]. It’s not worth that now. Wonder why?

More fraud?

Let’s move forward.

If you stop and think, prosperity is not a surplus of money, but the availability of goods and services, that one can trade for. Money is a “nothing” – nothing but a medium of exchange, an easy way to measure relative values and account for them in trade.

At this very moment, if you asked someone, “How do you know you’re rich?”               They will usually answer, “When I have a ton of money.”                                                 How did people confuse money (the illusion) with creating goods and services (the reality)?

Constant propaganda is one method. And attacking any alternative is another popular method. But the easiest way is to distract people from observing the facts.

What facts?

The first fact is that money has no intrinsic value. The real value is in the available goods and services one can trade the money for.

The second fact is that if you do give money an intrinsic value, like “hard” money, precious metal coinage, it becomes a subset of the whole set of goods available. There’s no way that an equitable measure or relative value can be established with such a system. It can never grow at the same rate as the total pool of goods and services.

The third fact is that “hard money” requires intrusive Government dictates that bullion must have a value less than the coin’s face value. If not enforced, the coins will be removed from circulation when bullion demand exceeds the official price. And ultimately, that means market forces are going to be thwarted or made Illegal

The fourth fact is based upon the idea that money is merely an accounting symbol. The sum of money tokens must be proportional to the complete set of available goods and services. Any increase in available products requires a proportional increase in the money tokens in circulation. Failure to increase tokens will either require producers to accept less tokens (lower prices) or drive them out of business, unable to pay for their materials, nor hire labor.

The fifth fact is that modern paper currency is borrowed into existence, often at usury. Banks and Governments are consumers, i.e., parasites. It is impossible to expect such a system to police itself, nor is it logical to expect it to do so.

The sixth fact is that usury, charging a fee, denominated in money, for the use of money, is proscribed by scriptures used by Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. In a finite money token system, usury is also mathematically impossible to pay. Usury is calculated with an exponential equation. Over time, the aggregate debt can exceed the total amount of money in existence. That means it’s impossible to pay all debts due.

The usurer doesn’t care. If the victim defaults, the usurer can claim the pledged collateral. If the victim can pay, the usurer wins. But impossible contracts are Illegal, aren’t they? Unless the debtors can create the money tokens to pay the debt and the interest, usury is an abominable contract. Usurers are thieves and scoundrels. “Modern” finance is based upon postulates, axioms, and procedures that disguise the theft.

Usury and debt-money are the main reasons why Economics cannot be a science, and Economists are divided into partisan groups, endlessly squabbling.

Obviously, the creators of new goods and services should be the only sources for new money. But such an innovative concept would destroy the financiers of the world. In other words, who needs to borrow money, when you can make it – legally!

The last fact is the definition of prosperity. True prosperity is the creation and trade of usable surplus goods and services. Money only facilitates the trade of the existing goods and services – it can’t create them.

Having a ton of money is useless when there’s nothing to buy. And having a ton of surplus potatoes is useless if you can’t trade them for what you want.

What about unemployment, closed factories, and other indications that there’s surplus manufacturing / productive capacity?

The Academics will trot out explanations like “there’s no demand for the product” or “there’s no financing for that factory” or “there’s no available labor at a price that’s profitable.”

Can you smell the rot?

“no demand” = price too high / not enough money                                                         “no financing” = no money available                                                                             “cheap labor” = no money available to hire

It looks like scarce money is the culprit. Without surplus cash sloshing around, it’s too “risky” to invest, impossible to buy.

Inflation / Deflation

It’s been mentioned in the news that Japan has steadily deflated prices, and is entering into economic crisis. We are close behind, based on the usury-based money system’s incremental theft by inflation.

According to Economics theory, inflation is “too much money chasing too few goods.” Deflation is “too much goods chasing too little money.”

Is that correct?

If there’s unemployment or underemployment, isn’t that surplus labor?                     Shouldn’t the cost of labor DROP?                                                                                     If there’s closed factories, isn’t that surplus productive capability?                               Shouldn’t the cost for American manufactured goods DROP?                                         Then how can there be “inflation” in America?

According to the Economists, there’s got to be a monstrous sum of money tokens, supposedly too much for the available pool, to boost prices.

So why aren’t factories humming, and labor at work?

There’s no money to invest nor hire.

That’s contradictory, isn’t it?

In fact, there IS a money scarcity. One cause was the “balanced budget” that eliminated the easy boost of new debt to authorize more Federal Reserve Notes (debt-money). The other cause of scarce money is the usury.

Now you are starting to see why the Federal Reserve nor the Government have any real solution to the economic mess. Though high interest rates of the past are no longer helping boost retail prices, there’s still enough usury to topple the economy. Despite beliefs to the contrary, the deflationary pressures of decades have built up to a dangerous level.

You are witnessing the bursting bubble of the fraud of debt-credit. It’s not unlike the Crash of 1929, when the bankers pulled the credit money out of circulation. When they called loans (yes – all loans have a “due on demand” clause), they eliminated the money power (medium of exchange) of that debt-credit. Then, the money drought made it impossible for debtors to pay creditors, and each default traveled up the line.

The Internet dot.com collapse was a forerunner of the ongoing collapse. When the money supply can’t expand as fast as needed, the evaporation of prosperity from the money drought is a certainty.

This collapse will propagate, each a cause and effect, that knocks out the private sector. The sound of falling monoliths of industry and enterprise is booming and echoing in the news reports of layoffs, more downsizing, and more belt tightening.

Let the Productive Make Money!

The best solution, short of euthanizing usurers, is to accept that the productive have the power and right to make new money with which to buy their production.

It’s not that odd, nor is it a novel idea. Every coupon that offers “free” something, is a form of promissory note. The only thing missing is the established trade value for that specific item. For example, if you read the fine print on a typical coupon for something “Free,” you’ll see something like : “Cash value 1/20 of a cent.”

Why would it be necessary for a coupon that can be exchanged for something of value, be deliberately denominated in a fraction of a cent?

Could it be that “someone” doesn’t want you to equate the coupon value with the promised item?

Imagine if MickyDee could pay its creditors with coupons for Free Micky Burgers?

Imagine what would happen if entrepreneurs could finance their enterprise by issuing promissory notes, denominated in what they CAN do / produce?

For example, you want to open a restaurant. Instead of begging for a line of credit from the local institution of usury, you issue “pay to the bearer on demand – one meal valued at XXX.” With these notes, you buy raw material, hire labor, etc., etc. And when you redeem your notes, you do it with what you CAN do – make meals. It doesn’t require that more money be printed, nor a creditor be given money. Who cares about the inflation or deflation of money, when you make private notes the circulating medium of exchange.

In fact, one of the biggest complaints that small communities have, is that money flows out, not in. That keeps them disproportionately poor. When there is plenty of money to stimulate the movement of goods and services, there’s a better chance for prosperity.

The biggest bugaboo trotted out by classic economists is that if you don’t regulate the creation of money, you will have HYPER INFLATION.

It’s true that an unscrupulous issuer might pump out more notes than he can redeem. But in any community, such an act would only succeed once. In other words, a man whose note is not his bond, has lost his “credit worthiness,” and can’t make his own money to fund his enterprise. He is stuck with using whatever is the current money. Let the thieves and scoundrels borrow from usurers.

What about wide scale trading? Obviously the checks and balances of a local community won’t work. So we allow banks to discount local notes, and issue widely circulating bank notes. These bank notes would be “backed” by the private notes held by the bank. Of course, there’s no usury allowed, so no bank can use “fractional reserve” to steal. The sole profit will be in user fees and profit from discounting the private notes.

How does this work?

A local farmer, with a proven track record of crops, offers promissory notes denominated in his next harvest. He wants to buy something outside his community. So he goes to the local note discounter (bank), and trades enough of his notes, perhaps with a 15% discount, to get sufficient bank notes. The banker can tender private notes for either commodities or labor. Or the banker can sell off the notes, at face value.

The same concept can eliminate the need for “workers unemployment insurance.” Instead of public charity, the prospective laborer can issue promissory notes denominated in hours of his labor. He can trade them for his needs. When a prospective employer wishes to hire labor, he can buy up notes from the local note discounter, and save a bundle on advertising costs. The worker redeems his notes, with his labor, or cash. Any one who won’t redeem his own labor notes, won’t ever get a second chance.

Already, we have seen that the inflation that plagued America has no real connection to classic “too much money” since there has been a money drought. And the change to destructive deflation will not be “too much product” since there will be an economic collapse eliminating both products and the funds to buy them.

This crisis will drive people to demand that the Government DO SOMETHING.

And you can wager whatever you wish, that the solution will only require another loss of freedoms, liberty, and property rights, beyond what we have already lost to Tyranny and Usury.

CELL PHONES, THE SILENT HOLOCAUST

-from Perception Deception by David Icke

A You Tube film by television presenter James Russell entitled Resonance – Beings of Frequency documents the dramatic transformation of the human electromagnetic environment in a ridiculously short time. The human electromagnetic field is being bombarded by ever-increasing sources of technological electromagnetism and the result is a disaster for ‘physical,’ mental and emotional health. This is not rocket science only an obvious, predictable cause and effect. In the mid 1980’s less than three percent of people were using cell phones. Now, especially in the so-called ‘developed world’ the figure is far closer to 100 percent with billions of phones in use. This is happening when people have no idea of the long-term consequences (although surely a village idiot could have a good shot at it all). Well, it would be more accurate to say that the population, medical ‘professionals’ and most personnel in the cell phone industry have no idea. Those truly behind all this know only too well what the consequences will be and for many already are. Cell phones communicate in the microwave band of the electromagnetic spectrum – the same as microwave ovens that further irradiate already irradiated ‘food’ and destroy nutrients to the point where it is no longer ‘food’ but only a substance that stops you being hungry for a while. Would anyone think it safe to put a microwave oven to their head? Such is the power of cognitive dissonance – a state of holding two or more conflicting beliefs at the same time and believing both to be true. Putting microwaves to your brain are extremely dangerous. The world manipulators want to create a mobile communication network, which involves people putting technology to their heads, by doing this they are using the most dangerous sections of the electromagnetic spectrum. Can some people be that stupid? Yes, of course, but the entire combination of global Governments, corporations, medicine, science, and ‘safety’ regulators?? All of these professions do stupid, but are we saying that somewhere within that entirety it wasn’t known what the potential consequences would be? No way. There was no need to use this microwave segment of the electromagnetic spectrum – it was selected because research and experience had shown how destructive it was to human health.

This is by design and not through stupidity or coincidence. What is more important, convenience or health?

The towers are far more powerful in their radiation transmission than is needed for cell phone communications because they are actually part of a gathering radiation field designed for mass mind control.

Published studies suggest that some 25,000 Americans develop cancer every year from sources of medical radiation and is responsible for damage to DNA. Going for a ‘scan’ to see the extent of an injury are people who will reap the whirlwind of this later in life if they’re not careful.

The attack on human health through cell phones speaks for itself. When you put a cell phone to your ear you immediately start to heat up that side of the brain and the longer the call continues the hotter it gets. Experiments led by Dr Nora D Volkow, director of the National Drug Abuse, revealed that the brain is adversely affected at microwave levels well below the official and as always, stupid ‘safe limits.’ Most parents are so ignorant of the risks that the average age of children now being given cell phones is just eight years old. Yet children are far more in danger from cell phones even than adults because they have thinner skulls. ‘Safe’ limits on everything from radiation to food additives are not set on the basis of safety for human health. They are set at a level that allows the corporate world controlled by the same bankster networks as the Governments setting the limits to do almost whatever they like.

Cell phones because of the cumulative effect on human health, especially among those who start young, is going to be catastrophic. The bloodlines know this and it is part of their culling of the population.

Major Northern California Event Will Expose Global Climate Engineering

Dane Wigington
geoengineeringwatch.org

On Friday, August 14th, 2015 a gathering has been scheduled at the David Marr Auditorium In Redding, California (seating for over 1000) to present indisputable evidence to the public on the ongoing covert catastrophic climate engineering/geoengineering  programs. This is a FREE public education event, there is no admission fee.  Numerous experts including former government biologists and defense industry personnel will present data to conclusively prove that the ongoing climate engineering programs are:
  • Contributing to global ecosystem and species die-off
  • Completely disrupting the hydrological cycle (rain cycle) all over the planet
  • Destroying the ozone layer which is causing off the chart levels of UV radiation
  • Contaminating our air, soils, and waters with highly toxic heavy metals
  • Causing extreme and unquantifiable environmental and human health impacts
  • Are being carried out illegally under the guise of “national security”
Internationally recognized radio host John B. Wells will emcee this critically important presentation of experts. In addition, John will give a short update summary on recent global events that have led humanity to this dark hour.
For over 65 years those in power have waged covert weather warfare against unsuspecting and innocent populations all over the planet. The ongoing covert climate engineering programs are referred to under several primary scientific terms: solar radiation management (SRM), stratospheric aerosol geoenginering (SAG), and stratospheric aerosol injection (SAI). The destruction already inflicted to the biosphere and all life forms from the climate modification insanity is immense beyond quantification and is growing by the day. Earth’s weather and life support systems have long since been completely derailed and disrupted. The highly toxic heavy metal and chemical fallout from these covert programs has contaminated the entire surface of the planet and every breath we take.
Questions that will be addressed at by experts at the event are:
  • What is geoengineering?
  • Why is it being done?
  • Who is doing this?
  • What are the overall consequences to the biosphere and to us?
  • How can we expose and stop these lethal programs?
Experts in attendance will each give 5 minute “statements of urgency” addressing the dire climate engineering issue.
Testimony will be given from:
  • Prominent Northern California Neurologist Dr. Hamid Rabiee
  • Former California Fish and Game biologist Allan Buckmann
  • Former US Forest Service biologist Francis Mangels
  • Former US Department of Agriculture farm specialist Rosalind Peterson
  • Former defense industry technician Mark McCandlish
  • Anti-geoengineering legal team attorney
  • US Navy veteran and anti-geoengineering activist Mario Ramirez
The final testimony will be from Dane Wigington, lead researcher for GeoengineeringWatch.org . This completely new presentation “Engineering Earth, Exposing The Global Weather Modification Assault On Humanity” will be filled with up to the minute data to highlight the grave impacts of the ongoing climate engineering cataclysm and the threat geoengineering poses to our survival.
  • Doors open at 4pm, Friday, August 14th. Admission is FREE, and there will be free informational materials available, including commercial DVDs while supplies last (500 copies)
  • The event will begin at 6:45pm with John B Wells update summary
  • 7:10pm, “statements of urgency” from experts
  • 7:45pm, “Engineering Earth” completely updated power point presentation
  • 8:30pm, panel of experts will answer audience questions
  • 10:00pm, auditorium doors will close
Climate Engineering is mathematically the greatest and most immediate threat to life on Earth short of nuclear cataclysm, public support in this fight is absolutely essential. This event is a call to action.

THEY LIVE, WE SLEEP: A Dictatorship Disguised as a Republic

By John W. Whitehead                                                                                                 August 4, 2015

You see them on the street. You watch them on TV. You might even vote for one this fall. You think they’re people just like you. You’re wrong. Dead wrong.

We’re living in two worlds, you and I.

There’s the world we see (or are made to see) and then there’s the one we sense (and occasionally catch a glimpse of), the latter of which is a far cry from the propaganda-driven reality manufactured by the government and its corporate sponsors, including the media.

Indeed, what most Americans perceive as life in America’s ”privileged, progressive and free” is a far cry from reality, where economic inequality is growing, real agendas and real power are buried beneath layers of Orwellian doublespeak and corporate obfuscation, and freedom, such that it is, is meted out in small, legalistic doses by militarized police armed to the teeth.

All is not as it seems.

This is the premise of John Carpenter’s film They Live (1988), in which two migrant workers discover that the world’s population is actually being controlled and exploited by aliens working in partnership with an oligarchic elite. All the while, the populace ”blissfully unaware of the real agenda at work in their lives” has been lulled into complacency, indoctrinated into compliance, bombarded with media distractions, and hypnotized by subliminal messages beamed out of television and various electronic devices, billboards and the like.

It is only when homeless drifter John Nada (played to the hilt by the late Roddy Piper) discovers a pair of doctored sunglasses ”Hoffman lenses” that Nada sees what lies beneath the elite’s fabricated reality: control and bondage.

When viewed through the lens of truth, the elite, who appear human until stripped of their disguises, are shown to be monsters who have enslaved the citizenry in order to prey on them. Likewise, billboards blare out hidden, authoritative messages: a bikini-clad woman in one ad is actually ordering viewers to MARRY AND REPRODUCE. Magazine racks scream CONSUME and OBEY. A wad of dollar bills in a vendor’s hand proclaims, THIS IS YOUR GOD.

When viewed through Nada’s Hoffman lenses, some of the other hidden messages being drummed into the people’s subconscious include: NO INDEPENDENT THOUGHT, CONFORM, SUBMIT, STAY ASLEEP, BUY, WATCH TV, NO IMAGINATION, and DO NOT QUESTION AUTHORITY.

This indoctrination campaign engineered by the elite in They Live is painfully familiar to anyone who has studied the decline of American culture. A citizenry that does not think for themselves, obeys without question, is submissive, does not challenge authority, does not think outside the box, and is content to sit back and be entertained is a citizenry that can be easily controlled.

In this way, the subtle message of They Live provides an apt analogy of our own distorted vision of life in the American police state, what philosopher Slavojek refers to as “dictatorship in democracy,” the invisible order which sustains your apparent freedom.

We’re being fed a series of carefully contrived fictions that bear no resemblance to reality. The powers-that-be want us to feel threatened by forces beyond our control (terrorists, shooters, bombers). They want us afraid and dependent on the Government and its militarized armies for our safety and well-being. They want us distrustful of each other, divided by our prejudices, and at each other’s throats. Most of all, they want us to continue to march in lockstep with their dictates.

Tune out the Government’s attempts to distract, divert and befuddle us and tune into what’s really going on in this country, and you’ll run headlong into an unmistakable, unpalatable truth: the moneyed elite who rule us view us as expendable resources to be used, abused and discarded. [Just like the redwoods and rivers]

In fact, a 2014 study conducted by Princeton and Northwestern University concluded that the U.S. Government does not represent the majority of Americans. Instead, the study found that the Government is ruled by the rich and powerful, or the so-called economic elite. Moreover, the researchers concluded that policies enacted by this Governmental elite nearly always favor special interests and lobbying groups.

In other words, we are being ruled by an oligarchy disguised as republic, and arguably on our way towards fascism, a form of Government where private corporate interests rule, money calls the shots, and the people are seen as mere subjects to be controlled.

Consider this: it is estimated that the 2016 presidential election could cost as much as $5 billion, more than double what was spent getting Obama re-elected in 2012.

Not only do you have to be rich and beholden to the rich to get elected theses days, but getting rich is also a surefire way to get rich. As CBS News reports, Once in office, members of Congress enjoy access to connections and information they can use to increase their wealth, in ways that are unparalleled in the private sector. And once politicians leave office, their connections allow them to profit even further.

In denouncing this blatant corruption of America’s political system, former President Jimmy Carter blasted the process of getting elected “to the White House, Governor’s Mansion, Congress or State Legislators as unlimited political bribery, a subversion of our political system as a payoff to major contributors, who want and expect, and sometimes get, favors for themselves after the election is over.”

Rest assured that when and if fascism finally takes hold in America, the basic forms of Government will remain. As I point out in my book Battlefield America: The War on the American People, fascism will appear to be friendly. The legislators will be in session. There will be elections, and the news media will continue to cover the entertainment and political trivia. Consent of the governed, however, will no longer apply. Actual control will have finally passed to the oligarchic elite controlling the Government behind the scenes.

By creating the illusion of democratic traditions, fascism creeps slowly until it consumes the political system. And in times of crisis, expediency is upheld as the central principle, that is, in order to keep us safe and secure, the Government must militarize the police, strip us of basic constitutional rights, criminalize virtually every form of behavior, and build enough private prisons to house all of us nonviolent criminals.

Clearly, we are now ruled by an oligarchic elite of GovernMental and corporate interests. We have moved into corporatism (favored by Benito Mussolini), which is a halfway point on the road to full-blown fascism.

Vast sectors of the economy, Government and politics are managed by private business concerns, otherwise referred to as ‘privatization’ by various Government politicians. Just study modern Government POLICIES. Every industry is regulated. Every profession is classified and organized, writes economic analyst Jeffrey Tucker. Every good or service is taxed. Endless debt accumulation is preserved. Immense doesn’t begin to describe the bureaucracy. Military preparedness never stops, and war with some evil foreign foe, remains a daily prospect.

In other words, THE Government in America today does whatever it wants.

Corporatism is where the few moneyed interests, not elected by the citizenry, rule over the many. In this way, it is not a democracy or a republican form of government, which is what the American government was established to be. It is a top-down form of Government and one which has a terrifying history typified by the developments that occurred in totalitarian regimes of the past: police states where everyone is watched and spied on, rounded up for minor infractions by Government agents, placed under police control, and placed in detention (a.k.a. concentration) camps.

For the final hammer of fascism to fall, it will require the most crucial ingredient: the majority of the people will have to agree that it’s not only expedient but necessary. But why would a people agree to such an oppressive regime? The answer is the same in every age: fear.

Fear makes people stupid.

Fear is the method most often used by politicians to increase the power of Government. And, as most social commentators recognize, an atmosphere of fear permeates modern America: fear of terrorism, fear of the police, fear of our neighbors and so on.

The propaganda of fear has been used quite effectively by those who want to gain control, and it is working on the American populace.

Despite the fact that we are 17,600 times more likely to die from heart disease than from a terrorist attack; 11,000 times more likely to die from an airplane accident than from a terrorist plot involving an airplane; 1,048 times more likely to die from a car accident than a terrorist attack, and 8 times more likely to be killed by a police officer than by a terrorist, we have handed over control of our lives to Government officials who treat us as a means to an end -the source of money and power.

We have allowed ourselves to become fearful, controlled, pacified zombies.

In this regard, we’re not so different from the oppressed citizens in They Live. Most everyone keeps their heads down these days while staring zombie-like into an electronic screen, even when they’re crossing the street. Families sit in restaurants with their heads down, separated by their screen devices and unaware of what’s going on around them. Young people especially seem dominated by the devices they hold in their hands, oblivious to the fact that they can simply push a button, turn the thing off and walk away.

Indeed, there is no larger group activity than that connected with those who watch screens, that is, television, lap tops, personal computers, cell phones and so on. In fact, a Nielsen study reports that American screen viewing is at an all-time high. For example, the average American watches approximately 151 hours of television per month.

The question, of course, is what effect does such screen consumption have on one’s mind?

Psychologically it is similar to drug addiction. Researchers found that almost immediately after turning on the TV, subjects reported feeling more relaxed, and because this occurs so quickly and the tension returns so rapidly after the TV is turned off, people are conditioned to associate TV viewing with a lack of tension. Research also shows that regardless of the programming, viewer’s brain waves slow down, thus transforming them into a more passive, nonresistant state.

Historically, television has been used by those in authority to quiet discontent and pacify disruptive people. Faced with severe overcrowding and limited budgets for rehabilitation and counseling, more and more prison officials are using TV to keep inmates quiet, according to Newsweek.

Given that the majority of what Americans watch on television is provided through channels controlled by six mega corporations, what we watch is now controlled by a corporate elite and, if that elite needs to foster a particular viewpoint or pacify its viewers, it can do so on a large scale.

If we’re watching, we’re not doing.

The powers-that-be understand this. As television journalist Edward R. Murrow warned in a 1958 speech:

We are currently wealthy, fat, comfortable and complacent. We have currently a built-in allergy to unpleasant or disturbing information. Our mass media reflect this. But unless we get up off our fat surpluses and recognize that television in the main is being used to distract, delude, amuse, and insulate us, then television and those who finance it, those who look at it, and those who work at it, may see a totally different picture too late.

This brings me back to They Live, in which the real zombies are not the aliens calling the shots but the populace who are content to remain controlled.

When all is said and done, the world of They Live is not so different from our own. As one of the characters points out, “The poor and the underclass are growing. Racial justice and human rights are nonexistent. They have created a repressive society and we are their unwitting accomplices. Their intention to rule rests with the annihilation of consciousness. We have been lulled into a trance. They have made us indifferent to ourselves, to others. We are focused only on our own gain.”

We, too, are focused only on our own pleasures, prejudices and gains. Our poor and underclasses are also growing. Racial injustice is growing. Human rights is nearly nonexistent. We too have been lulled into a trance, indifferent to others.

Oblivious to what lies ahead, we’ve been manipulated into believing that if we continue to consume, obey, and have faith, things will work out. But that’s never been true of emerging regimes. And by the time we feel the hammer coming down upon us, it will be too late.
